LINGERIE OUTLETS: “HOW TO MAKE A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS VENTURE ”

Opening a Lingerie Store, has been a priority for many entrepreneurs in India and we have been getting steady inquiries on how to make success of such ventures.
Lingerie is a very recent business model in the history of modern retail in India. It is slowly making inroads in most urban centres to the mini metros and towns. Today there are more than 5000 specialised lingerie outlets in the country whose main focus remains lingerie retailing.
This no. will grow to 12,000 by 2014, a quantam jump of 240% in four years time. Earlier it was cosmetic and lingerie or readymade and lingerie, never lingerie alone. But the trend that started in the 90's in the metros like Mumbai and Delhi of having standalone lingerie outlets consolidated in last decade or so before the advent of malls and Large Format Stores.

A retail shop of 250 sq. ft. and upwards does require to ponder and think what are the factors that will influence their opening.
